Day21 · FreezeFence

Terms of Service

Effective date: July 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Day21 | FreezeFence browser extension ("the extension") and this website, published by Day21 ("we", "us"). By installing or using the extension, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension. You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live in order to use it.

2. What the extension is

The extension is a tool that asks your browser to keep tabs you explicitly chose from being frozen (paused) or discarded (unloaded). It runs locally in your browser and is currently free to install and use. It does not require an account.

Keeping a tab alive is best-effort, not a guarantee. Browsers and operating systems may override any extension under memory pressure or policy, and their behavior changes between versions. The extension reports its real protection state, including degraded states, but it cannot promise that a tab will never be paused, unloaded, or logged out.

3. Acceptable use and your responsibility

You agree to use the extension only for lawful purposes, and in particular to:

  • respect the terms of service of the websites you keep alive — if a site's terms restrict automated or persistent access, those terms are your responsibility to follow;
  • not use the extension to abuse, overload, or circumvent usage limits of any website or service;
  • comply with all laws that apply to you.

You are solely responsible for how you use the extension. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the extension in violation of these Terms.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension for your own use. You may not resell the extension or misrepresent its origin. The extension and this website, including their design and code, remain our property.

5. No warranty

The extension and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Browsers change frequently; features may stop working at any time without notice. Do not rely on the extension as the sole safeguard for unsaved or irreplaceable work.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, nor for any loss of data, progress, sessions, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the extension or this website — including losses caused by a tab being frozen, discarded, reloaded, or logged out despite protection. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the extension — which, for a free product, is zero. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability arising from our gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

7. Changes to the extension and these terms

The extension's features and pricing may change over time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with an updated effective date; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the extension at any time.

8. Termination

You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend the license in section 4 if you breach these Terms.

9. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at day21dev2026@gmail.com — we make a genuine effort to resolve issues informally. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York State, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

10. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the extension and this website.
