Save whole collections, not one file at a time.

Day21 Bulk Social Media Downloader is a browser extension that queues up albums, profiles, and entire collections on most major social platforms — and saves the photos and videos to your device in the best available quality.

Features

Built for the big grab

Bulk by design

Download an entire album, profile, or collection in one pass — hundreds of files from a single click.

A real download queue

Every job becomes a task in a floating queue panel with live progress. Keep triggering; tasks line up and run one by one.

Stops and resumes

Interrupted halfway through a big collection? The queue remembers where it stopped and picks up from that exact page.

Skips what you already have

Files you saved before are recognized and skipped automatically, so re-running a collection is cheap.

Best available quality

Photos at the highest resolution the platform serves. Videos are merged to the best quality available — stitched together locally, on your device.

Audio-only mode

Save just the soundtrack of a video as an audio file, from the same menus and shortcuts.

Files named your way

Custom file and folder naming rules, any destination folder, and optional caption text files alongside the media.

Keyboard-first

A command palette and rebindable shortcuts. Press ⌘⇧Z and the download starts without touching the mouse.

Plus: optional webhook notifications for automation, right-click and in-page download buttons, and a progress drawer that shows exactly where every file went.

How it works

Three steps, then it's routine

  1. Install, and grant access as you go

No blanket permissions at install. The extension asks for access to a site the first time you use it there — and never anywhere else.

  2. Open what you want to save

A post, an album, a full profile. A download button appears right where you are; the command palette and ⌘⇧Z work too.

  3. Let the queue work

Tasks download one by one into the folder you chose, named by your rules. Progress survives interruptions — resume picks up where it stopped.

Privacy

Nothing to collect.
Nowhere to send it.

No account. No analytics. None of our servers in the loop. Media travels straight from the platform to your device, and your settings stay inside your browser. Even this website runs no trackers.

Fair use

Download responsibly

Day21 gives you a faster way to save content you already have the right to save. Each platform's own terms of service govern what you may download — follow them, and respect creators' rights. You are responsible for how you use the extension.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which platforms does it support?

Most major social platforms — photo posts, video posts, albums, and full profiles. We keep this site platform-neutral, so we don't name them here. Once installed, the extension lights up on supported sites: the download button appears wherever it can help.

Is it free?

Yes — free to install and use. There is no account and no paywall today. Features and pricing may evolve over time.

Do you collect any of my data?

No. There is no account, no analytics, and none of our servers are involved. Media goes straight from the platform to your device, and your settings never leave your browser. The optional webhook feature sends download events only to an endpoint you configure yourself.

Where do my downloaded files go?

Your browser downloads folder by default, or any folder you pick. File and folder names follow rules you set, and captions can be saved as text files alongside the media.

Am I allowed to download this content?

That depends on the platform and the content. Each platform’s own terms of service are the rulebook: use the extension only in ways those terms allow, and only for content you have the right to save. You are responsible for how you use it.

Why does the extension ask for site access?

Permissions are on-demand. The extension installs with no site access at all and asks for a site only when you first use it there. You can revoke access at any time from your browser settings.
