Try this first

Reload the page
Setting changes, and pages opened before the extension was ready, apply after a reload.
Open the popup on that site
Click the extension icon on that site. If you see an Enable button, click it and choose Allow in your browser's prompt. If it says another extension is in the way, turn that one off and reload.
Turn on Debug mode
It's in the extension's General settings. Most items it would hide get a red label instead of being hidden, and a few are simply shown, so you can see which switch is responsible.
Check for updates
Make sure the extension is up to date in your browser's extension manager.
