1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Day21 | Grill with Docs plugin ("the plugin") and this website, published by Day21 ("we", "us"). By installing or using the plugin, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the plugin.

2. What the plugin is

The plugin is a set of instruction files for Claude Code that runs a structured interview about a plan or design and writes architecture decision records and glossary entries into your repository. It is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. We may update, change, or discontinue the plugin at any time.

3. The platforms' terms come first

The plugin does not run on its own: it operates inside Claude Code and through the AI service you have configured, and it may read and write files in repositories and projects that carry their own licenses and agreements. Your use of the plugin must comply with the terms of service, usage policies, and licenses of every platform and service it touches — including, without limitation, Anthropic's terms and usage policies governing Claude and Claude Code, and the terms of any code host or service connected to your session. Those platforms' terms are the rulebook: where anything in your use of the plugin would conflict with them, they control, and you must not use the plugin in that way. We do not grant you any rights over any third-party platform, and we are not responsible for changes those platforms make to their terms or their services.

4. AI-generated content

The questions, recommended answers, decision records, and glossary entries the plugin produces are generated by an AI model. They may be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong, and they are not professional, legal, financial, or engineering advice. You are responsible for reviewing every output before relying on it. All decisions made during or after an interview session — and everything you build as a result — are yours alone.

5. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the plugin and for the consequences of that use, including compliance with the platform terms described in section 3 and with applicable law. Any legal issue arising from your use of the plugin is yours to resolve and yours to bear. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the plugin in violation of these Terms or of any third-party platform's terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE PLUGIN AND THIS WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLUGIN WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE CORRECT OR USEFUL OUTPUT.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLUGIN OR THIS WEBSITE. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, CODE, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PLUGIN, ITS OUTPUT, OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PLUGIN — WHICH IS ZERO.

8. Intellectual property

The plugin, this website, and the Day21 name and branding remain our property. The contents of your repository — including decision records and glossary entries the plugin writes there — are yours. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC; we use those names only to describe compatibility and are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Anthropic.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page; continued use of the plugin after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
